Our retail garden center is located in Baldwinsville, NY, nestled among 5 acres of hardwoods in a picturesque country setting complete with abundant wildlife all around. Included on the 5 acres are trails in the woods as well as three ponds.

The ponds are homes to fish, water snakes, bull frogs and, our long time resident, ‘Giant’, a 100 year old snapping turtle, which has been roaming between two of the ponds for 15 years. He occasionally comes out of the water and enjoys being fed, and our staff would be more than happy to help coax him out of the water if you’d like to feed him.

If you’re a bird lover, this is the place to be. We have birdwatchers come from all over central NY to view more than 60 species of birds. Some of the birds we have on the property are bald eagles, barred owls, red tailed hawks, and pileated woodpeckers, to name a few.

We also have a nice variety of perennials, shrubs, trees, mulches and stone for sale. Because 80% of our stock is grown on site, this assures a quality product. Our staff has knowledge and training of plant structure, propagating, fertilizing methods, and proper pruning techniques for all plant stock. While we have a wide variety of plant material, if there is something you are looking for that we don’t have, just ask…we will be happy to find it for you!

Nursery hours are Saturdays 8-5 pm, and Sundays 10-3 pm. We are closed on Sundays during the months of July and August, so our staff can enjoy some of the summer weather with their families. Weekday hours vary according to our landscaping schedule as well as the weather. Because our hours differ on weekdays, please call ahead to verify someone will be there to help you.
